Total flights during the peak period will increase by about 500, or 16% year-on-year. Seat capacity will reach 832,000, up 130,000 seats, equivalent to an 18% increase compared with the same period last year.

Flights will be concentrated on high-demand domestic routes connecting Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hue, Quang Binh, Quy Nhon, Tuy Hoa and Phu Quoc. With stable operations on both domestic and international routes, Vietjet is ready to meet travel demand for residents and tourists.

During the period, Vietjet is also offering promotional programmes, including the “Fly Vietjet, receive golden luck” campaign and discounts of up to 20% on Deluxe fares across its network, along with other incentives, helping passengers plan trips early and access more flexible travel options at reasonable prices.

With a modern fleet, the airline has opened new routes such as Da Nang-Jakarta, Nha Trang-Singapore and Hanoi-Shizuoka, while diversifying fare classes and improving service quality. Additional staff have been deployed at airports to support operations during the peak period, thus contributing to safe and convenient journeys for passengers.

Vietjet adds nearly 1,800 flights for peak Lunar New Year travel

In response to surging travel demand during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday, Vietjet has opened for sale an additional 390,000 seats, equivalent to nearly 1,800 supplementary flights, during the peak period from February 2 to March 3, 2026.
