Vietjet offers 20% discount to mark launch of Hanoi-Shizuoka route

VOV.VN - Low-cost airline Vietjet has opened ticket sales for its new Hanoi-Shizuoka route in Japan, operating three round-trip flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

The new service is scheduled to begin on April 28, bringing Vietjet’s total number of routes between Vietnam and Japan to 11.

Under the flight schedule, Vietjet flights will depart Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi at 2:40 a.m. and arrive at Shizuoka Airport at 9:30 a.m. local time. Return flights will leave Shizuoka at 10:30 a.m. local time and land in Hanoi at 2:00 p.m. the same day.

To mark the launch of the new route, Vietjet is offering a 20% discount on Deluxe fares (excluding taxes and fees) for passengers booking flights on its Japan routes using the promo code HELLOSHIZUOKA. The promotion runs from January 20 to 22, with tickets available via www.vietjetair.com and the Vietjet Air mobile app, for travel between March 1 and December 31.

Passengers flying on Deluxe fares on Vietjet’s Vietnam–Japan routes are entitled to a full-service package that includes 20 kg of checked baggage, free seat selection, free itinerary changes, and other benefits.

The new Hanoi-Shizuoka route is expected to enhance connectivity between Vietnam and Shizuoka Prefecture, home to well-known attractions such as Mount Fuji, the Mishima Skywalk suspension bridge, expansive tea plantations in Nihondaira and Makinohara, Shimizu fishing port, and popular hot spring resorts in Atami and Izu.

Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, is a major political, economic and cultural centre and a popular destination for international visitors, known for its blend of historic character and modern urban life, distinctive cuisine and welcoming atmosphere.
