Vietjet launches four new air routes to China destinations
VOV.VN - Budget airline Vietjet is expanding its global connectivity with the launch of four new routes linking Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam with Beijing and Guangzhou of China.

The newly inaugurated routes - Ho Chi Minh City-Beijing, Ho Chi Minh City-Guangzhou, and Hanoi-Guangzhou on March 30, followed by Hanoi-Beijing on April 1- offer more convenient travel options for passengers. These routes strengthen the connection between Vietnam and China, and foster cultural, economic, and tourism exchanges between the two countries, the region, and the world.
Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Construction, the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, and the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City joined Vietjet leaders in celebrating the launch and welcoming the first passengers on these flights.
The Ho Chi Minh City-Beijing route operates daily, linking Vietnam’s most dynamic city with Beijing Daxing International Airport. Meanwhile, the Hanoi-Beijing route is available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays for outbound flights, with return flights on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays (local time).
Flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Guangzhou operate daily, connecting to Baiyun International Airport. Similarly, the Hanoi-Guangzhou route also runs daily, offering seamless travel for passengers in both directions.
Vice Chairwoman of the Vietjet Board of Directors Nguyen Thanh Ha noted that these new routes provide cost-effective and convenient travel options for passengers.
Vietjet flights not only connect Vietnam and China but also expand our network further, Ha said.
Since its first flight to China in 2014, Vietjet has continually expanded its routes, now linking Vietnam with over 50 destinations across China. The expansion has provided millions of passengers with convenient travel opportunities and strengthened cultural, economic, trade, and tourism cooperation.
According to Vietjet representatives, these new routes make it even easier for travelers to explore China, including major cities such as Shanghai, Chengdu, Xi’an, and now Beijing and Guangzhou.
