Quang Ninh unveils 2025 tourism stimulus campaign toward 20-million-visitor target
VOV.VN - The northern border province of Quang Ninh has launched its 2025 tourism stimulus campaign themed “Quang Ninh – Experience Heritage, Connect the World”, aiming to attract 20 million visitors, including 4.5 million international travelers this year.
The campaign is designed to position Quang Ninh as a safe, friendly, attractive, and professional destination, further strengthening its reputation as one of Vietnam’s premier tourism hubs and a leading destination in the region. A diverse lineup of cultural, artistic, sporting, and culinary events will be staged to enrich visitor experiences and broaden tourism linkages.
From now until the end of 2025, travelers can look forward to a vibrant calendar of activities. Highlights include artistic fireworks displays held three nights a week, the Quang Ninh Food Festival 2025, spectacular water and light shows, and a special New Year 2026 countdown.
Other key events will feature a kite and paragliding festival, dragon boat racing, the Quang Ninh Ethnic Culture and Sports Festival, the Yen Tu Autumn Festival, the Bach Dang Victory art exhibition, and the International Water Puppetry Festival, promising a festive atmosphere throughout the year.
“Compared to last year, the campaign introduces renewed tourism products from local businesses. Nearly 100 enterprises have already registered, offering special packages with added-value services for visitors. We are actively promoting these new products nationwide and internationally,” said Nguyen The Hue, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Tourism Association.
