Mekong Delta named as one of best destinations to visit in 2019

With the area’s numerous waterways, the ideal means of transportation is a speedboat which, according to the magazine, can give visitors an authentic experience of "delta life".

The most famous destinations in the area are the floating markets. Visitors should try the amazing dishes and fresh fruits sold on boats and watch the unique scenes of trading between boats at the markets.

Cai Rang in Can Tho City, Nga Bay in Hau Giang Province and Cai Be in Tien Giang Province are some of the most notable markets.

Located in the southwest of Vietnam, the Mekong Delta is the nation’s agricultural hub and boasts the largest seafood exports.
