Ho Chi Minh City welcomes 500 MICE tourists from India
VOV.VN - The Asia Destination Management JSC has welcomed nearly 500 Indian tourists joining a MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and events) tour from July 20 to 25.
The delegation from HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company of India is also to enjoy a number of inter-provincial tours throughout the southern region.
Nguyen Cam Tu, director of the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Center, said MICE tour is widely viewed as a positive signal for the rebound of the international tourism market, offering fresh impetus to accelerating the local tourism industry ahead in the peak tourism season for foreign visitors in the remaining months of the year.
Furthermore, it also demonstrates tourists’ trust and affirms Ho Chi Minh City’s position as one of the leading tourist destinations in the country, Tu added.
At present, the southern city's tourism industry has designed a number of unique tourism products in order to further attract domestic and foreign tourists moving forward.
