Gia Lai to promote tourism and investment opportunities in RoK
VOV.VN - Gia Lai province in Vietnam’s Central Highlands will organise a tourism promotion conference in Seoul from June 10-14 as part of efforts to strengthen tourism and investment cooperation with partners in the Republic of Korea (RoK).
According to a plan issued by the provincial People's Committee, the conference is scheduled to take place on June 13 and will bring together representatives of provincial agencies, tourism associations and businesses from Gia Lai.
Participants will also include representatives of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK, the Vietnam Tourism Association’s representative office in the RoK, RoK travel companies, business associations and potential investors.
Winthin the conference, the province will join the “Korea Investment Promotion Forum-FLC Ecosystem: Unlocking New Investment Opportunities in Vietnam, Real Estate, Aviation and Resort Tourism”.
The event will highlight FLC’s integrated aviation, tourism and resort real estate model, while introducing Gia Lai’s investment potential in tourism, real estate, golf, renewable energy and high-tech agriculture. Business-matching activities and networking sessions are also expected to facilitate partnerships between Vietnamese and RoK enterprises.
During the visit, provincial representatives are scheduled to meet RoK tourism businesses and investors, as well as officials from the Vietnamese Embassy in the RoK and the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (K-BIZNET).
It will also feature an investment, trade and tourism promotion booth displaying products certified under Vietnam’s One Commune One Product (OCOP) programme, along with site visits to selected tourism destinations and services in Seoul.
