Diverse activities put on for visitors during Hanoi Tourism Festival 2025
VOV.VN - The Hanoi Tourism Festival 2025 officially opened at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel in the capital on May 30 evening on the theme of "Experience Hanoi 2025."

This annual flagship event is a key initiative in the capital’s tourism promotion efforts, designed to showcase a wide array of vibrant, unique, and appealing travel offerings to both domestic and international visitors. The festival serves not only to introduce the cultural depth of Hanoi but also to elevate Vietnam’s standing as a leading tourist destination on the global stage.
Speaking at the event, Dang Huong Giang, director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, highlighted Hanoi's commitment to prioritising visitors, giving them the chance to enjoy first-hand experience.
Hanoi is actively working to improve its tourism environment by upgrading service quality, diversifying tourism products, and accelerating digital transformation, aiming to shape the capital into a “livable, friendly, and creative city” one that stands out as a top cultural tourism destination in Asia and around the world, she said.

Throughout the festival, attendees can explore a diverse lineup of experiential activities that blend heritage, creativity, and technology. Highlights include a culinary zone offering both traditional and international cuisine, immersive virtual reality (VR) tours of historical landmarks, and exhibits celebrating traditional craft villages.
This year’s edition also introduces several new features, including a tourism survey programme exploring potential new routes in Ba Vi, as well as a seminar dedicated to developing Halal tourism in Hanoi, an emerging sector with growing interest.
The three-day celebration will also see the debut of atmospheric night tours, such as “Tiếng Chuông Trấn Vũ” (Tran Vu Bell Sound), and hands-on traditional craft experiences at Kim Ngan Temple, located at 42 Hang Bac Street.
