The Da Nang pavilion at the OTM 2026 international tourism fair features six leading tourism businesses specialising in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), weddings, and resorts.

It aims to enhance Da Nang’s tourism brand, create opportunities for businesses to expand cooperation, foster connections with airlines, and expand direct air routes from New Delhi/Mumbai to Da Nang.

So far Da Nang has hosted 420 business appointments with Indian partners in the fields of MICE tourism, golf tourism, wedding tourism, and luxury resorts.

Da Nang's participation is an important step in its strategy to expand promotion in the western and southern region of India which is a hub for aviation and tourism. It’s expected to help Da Nang affirm itself as a MICE, wedding tourism, and luxury resort destination, meeting the trend of Indian tourists to seek destinations for cultural experiences and package events.

The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism reported that in 2025 Vietnam welcomed more than 746,000 Indian tourists, including over 476,000 arrivals to Da Nang, accounting for 63% of the total number of Indian tourists to Vietnam.

The Indian market currently ranks fourth in Da Nang's Top 10 international tourist markets, making up 6.2% of the total figure, with growth doubling compared to 2024, demonstrating the attraction of Da Nang on the Indian tourist map.

According to the Indian Ministry of Tourism, Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing destinations in this market, increasing by nearly 4.5 times against 2019. Improving service quality and meeting the trends of tourism demand are considered key factors to continue to attract Indian tourists to Da Nang.
