Da Nang hotels enjoy upswing in business for National Reunification holiday
VOV.VN - The central coastal city of Da Nang remains a popular option among travelers during the National Reunification Day (April 30), and May Day (May 1), holidays with several of the city’s hotels being fully booked, according to the city’s department of tourism.
According to travel companies, many travelers have made early reservations this year, causing a number of lodging facilities in the city to be fully book, particularly those hotels close to the sea. In addition, some hotels also offered attractive promotions to lure visitors.
Domestic visitors to Da Nang have risen 30 per cent over the last year whilst the city remains an attractive destination for both local and foreign tourists.
The area’s notable landmarks such as Son Tra peninsular, Ba Na Hills, and Ngu Hanh Son, also known as the Marble mountains, have become magnets for attracting visitors.
Huynh Thi Huong Lan, deputy director of the Da Nang Centre for Tourism Promotion under the city’s Department of Tourism, said the tourism sector and businesses across the city have organised a wide range of events catering for visitors.
