Cruise ship Piano Land brings nearly 1,000 tourists to Khanh Hoa
VOV.VN - The Bermuda-flagged cruise ship Piano Land arrived at Cam Ranh International Port in Khanh Hoa province at 9 am on May 11, carrying on board nearly 1,000 tourists from Hong Kong, China.
It is scheduled to stay at the port until 4 p.m. on May 12, allowing passengers to tour and relax in the coastal province.
Following the ship’s arrival, Khang Huy Holiday Vietnam Co., Ltd. organised sightseeing tours to local popular attractions including Long Son Pagoda, the Po Nagar Cham Towers, Nha Trang Cathedral, I-Resort Hot Spring Park, Champa Island Nha Trang, the Tram Huong Tower Square area, and Nha Trang Beach Park.
Visitors also enjoyed shopping at Dam Market and sampling traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
Piano Land is expected to leave Khanh Hoa on the afternoon of May 12 for its return journey to Hong Kong.
According to the Khanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the province has welcomed 28 international cruise ships since the beginning of the year, with more than 44,600 passengers coming ashore for sightseeing tours.
Based on registrations from cruise operators, the locality is expected to receive another 20 cruise ships by the end of the year.
The steady flow of international cruise liners to Khanh Hoa underscores the province’s growing appeal as a destination on the global cruise tourism map.
