Departing from Singapore on April 20, Oceania Riviera carried more than 1,000 passengers, most of them Europeans. After visiting Ho Chi Minh City, it arrived in Khanh Hoa, where passengers joined shore excursions organised by Tan Hong Trading and Tourism Co., Ltd.

The programmes include tours of Nha Trang, visits to sites such as Po Nagar Towers, Long Son Pagoda and Truong Son craft village, as well as opportunities to experience rural life along the Cai River. Trips to southern Khanh Hoa include vineyards in Vinh Hai, Nui Chua National Park and Vinh Hy Bay. The ship is scheduled to depart later the same day for Hong Kong, China.

Another cruise ship, Oceania Regatta, is expected to arrive on April 25 with around 600 passengers on a Vietnam itinerary. Its passengers will join shore excursions designed for cruise passengers, also organised by Tan Hong Trading and Tourism Co., Ltd.

According to the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Khanh Hoa has received 27 international cruise ship calls since the beginning of the year, with more than 43,670 passengers going ashore. Based on registered schedules, the province is expected to welcome a further 20 cruise ships by the end of the year, showing its growing appeal on the international cruise tourism map.

Star Voyager cruise ship to call at Nha Trang in summer itinerary
