Cruise liner Celebrity Solstice brings foreign visitors to central Vietnam

Immediately after their arrival, the passengers took on tours to several major tourist destinations and sampled specialties in Thua Thien-Hue province.

After a one-day stay, the foreign travelers are scheduled to continue their trip to discover the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau.

This comes after the ship brought the tourists on March 17 to Ha Long international cruise port in the northern province of Quang Ninh, with the site being home to UNESCO-recognised Ha Long Bay.

Celebrity Solstice is the lead ship of the Solstice class of cruise ships which is operated by Celebrity Cruises. 

The vessel stretches for 314.86 metres in length, boasts a capacity of 2,852 passengers, and is rated as one of the most modern ships in the world.

Moving forward, Chan May port in Thua Thien-Hue province is scheduled to welcome a total of 32 cruise ships with 60,000 international passengers in the year ahead.
