Carnival Luminosa brings more than 2,000 tourists to Phuoc An Port
VOV.VN - The international cruise ship Carnival Luminosa, operated by Carnival Australia, docked at Phuoc An Port in Phuoc An commune on the morning of October 21, bringing more than 2,000 international tourists ashore to visit landmarks, historical sites, and beaches in Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh City.
The vessel sailed an itinerary from Hong Kong, China, to Vietnam before arriving at Phuoc An Port. It has a capacity of approximately 3,000 people, including over 900 crew members.
After completing exit procedures at the port, passengers joined scheduled tours and returned to the ship in the afternoon of the same day to continue their voyage toward Singapore.
Earlier, in February 2026, Dong Nai welcomed about 1,000 tourists docking at Phuoc An Port. This marked the first international cruise ship to set foot in the locality, opening up opportunities to develop maritime tourism.
Over recent times, Dong Nai's tourism sector has been cooperating with cruise tour operators to survey destinations near Phuoc An Port to cater to the sightseeing, experiential, and shopping needs of visitors upon arrival.
Khanh Hoa welcomes international cruise ship carrying 4,000 tourists
VOV.VN - Panamanian-flagged cruise ship Adora Magic City, carrying around 4,000 tourists from Shenzhen, China, docked at Cam Ranh International Port in the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on August 24.
