Azur Air of Russia to resume charter flights to Nha Trang
VOV.VN - Russian airline Azur Air plans to resume charter flights connecting 11 Russian cities with Nha Trang city, a resort city in Vietnam’s central Khanh Hoa province, from March 16, according to ANEX Tour Vietnam.

An ANEX Tour Vietnam representative reported, Azur Air will use Boeing 757s, Boeing 767s, and Boeing 777s to bring passengers from Barnaul, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, Moscow, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Novokuznetsk, Blagoveshchensk, Khabarovsk, Vladivostokm and Irkutsk, to Vietnam via Cam Ranh International Airport.
The first flight carrying 238 passengers is scheduled to depart from Irkutsk and land at Cam Ranh International Airport on March 17.
Azur Air plans to operate a total of 12 flights in March, and raise the figure to 55 per month from April to June, and to 100 flights per month from July.
Khanh Hoa is one of Russian holidaymakers’ favourite destinations in Vietnam. The tourists normally have a minimum stay of five nights in the province.
The resumption of charter flights from Russia to Nha Trang is expected to develop tourism services in Vietnam in general and the locality in particular.
