Anex Tour Vietnam to increase Russian tourist arrivals to Khanh Hoa
VOV.VN - Anex Vietnam Travel and Trading Company Limited (Anex Tour Vietnam) expects to bring 251,430 tourists from Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries to Vietnam from April 1 to October 31 this year, increasing by over 46,000 compared to the initial plan.
The maximum flight frequency will reach approximately 279 flights per month from 20 cities in Russia and CIS countries, with a capacity of about 40,365 passengers per month.
The figures were unveiled in a Anex Tour Vietnam plan submitted to authorities of Khanh Hoa province to adjust the firm’s summer 2026 tourism plan, citing stronger-than-expected demand from Russia and CIS markets.
Under its initial plan, the company aimed to bring around 205,000 visitors from Russia and CIS countries, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Belarus, to Vietnam between April 1 and October 31. Of this, Khanh Hoa was set to receive the largest share, with about 180,000 arrivals, while the remainder would be distributed to Da Nang and Phan Thiet.
However, amid robust growth in travel demand, particularly from Russia and CIS countries, Anex Tour Vietnam has revised its plan upward.
According to the latest update, Khanh Hoa is set to account for the largest share, with an estimated 183,270 arrivals, up by more than 3,000 compared to the earlier plan and representing nearly 73% of the company’s total inbound visitors to Vietnam. The province alone is expected to receive up to 222 flights per month, with a capacity of about 29,200 passengers monthly.
Tourists are projected to stay between seven and 14 nights at three- to five-star hotels, contributing significantly to local tourism and hospitality revenues during the peak summer season.
To ensure smooth operations, Anex Tour Vietnam has requested support from local authorities in Khanh Hoa in areas such as tourism promotion, visitor coordination, and preparation of human resources and services to accommodate large tourist groups.
Summer 2026 is expected to provide an opportunity for Khanh Hoa to further consolidate its position as one of Vietnam’s leading beach tourism destinations among international travelers, particularly from Russia and CIS markets.
Previously, in 2025, Anex Tour Vietnam brought 177,880 Russian and CIS visitors to Vietnam, of which 79% traveled to Khanh Hoa, playing a significant role in the recovery of this key inbound market.
