Airlines offer promotional tickets during August

VOV.VN - A number of domestic airlines have launched a range of promotional programs on airfares on local and international air routes in order to facilitate the travel of passengers this autumn.

Accordingly, the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines will offer discounts from August 19 to August 28 with one-way tickets priced from VND299,000 to VND799,000 on domestic routes, with return tickets being priced from US$9 to US$500 on international routes departing from August 19,2019 to March 31, 2020.
The airline is to also offer cheap tickets every Thursday on some domestic routes at a price of between VND222,000 and VND777,000 for a one-way ticket, excluding taxes and fees.

Budget airline Jetstar Pacific has also launched huge discounts on airfares with prices starting at VND11,000 before moving up to VND228,000 for one-way tickets on Thursday each week on flights that depart from August to October.

In addition to these discounts, Bamboo Airways, the nation’s newest airline, has offered a preferential package of between VND900,000 and VND1.4 million on each ticket, including taxes and fees, providing passengers purchase four tickets at the same time. The cheaper packages will apply to some of the airline’s flights, while the VND5.6 million package will apply to all domestic flights.

Low-cost carrier Vietjet Air also launched one million tickets priced only from zero dong, excluding taxes and fees, for several flights from 12:00 to 14:00 from August 5 to August 11.

Between August 6 and August 8, the airline has applied discounts on all international routes during these golden hours while tickets on the Vietnam-Japan route are on sale for the entire day. All flights will depart between September 7, 2019 and June 25, 2020.

Hai Au Aviation began operating a new air route on July 20 from Dong Hoi to Da Nang each Thursday and Sunday at a price of VND6.96 million for a one-way ticket, including taxes and fees.

In doing so they became the only airline to launch a direct air route between the two destinations. Within 70 minutes, visitors will be able to savour the scenic views of popular destinations such as Son Tra peninsula, the Hai Van pass, Tam Giang lagoon, and Dong Hoi ancient citadel.
