20 Indian travel firms survey tourist attractions in Khanh Hoa
VOV.VN - Representatives from 20 Indian travel firms are conducting a famtrip to the southcentral city of Khanh Hoa from August 3 to 6 in order to explore popular tourist attractions and experience tourism products and services in Nha Trang city.
During their stay the group are expected to survey various types of sea and island tourism, cultural tourism, and eco-tourism by exploring a number of tourist attractions throughout Nha Trang city. Areas of interest include Tri Nguyen tourist area, Hon Rom island, Con Se Tre tourist site, Hon Chong island, Thap Ba (Ponagar) tower relic site, Dien Khanh ancient citadel, Yang Bay tourist park, and Memento tourist area.
According to the provincial Department of Tourism, the survey is anticipated to help Indian travel companies gain greater insights into the cultural and tourism characteristics of Nha Trang and Khanh Hoa as a whole. In addition, it will serve to strengthen connectivity with tourism businesses throughout the locality, providing a foundation for organising Indian delegations to Khanh Hoa and vice versa.
Along with fully tapping into traditional international tourism markets such as China, Russia, and the Republic of Korea, the local tourism industry has recently devised plans to exploit the potential Indian market with a series of attractive and suitable tourism products.
Representatives of travel agencies in Khanh Hoa revealed that the Indian tourism market has gradually become more attractive to the locality thanks to its populous nation, with the middle class making up between 200 million and 300 million people who have high demand for shopping, entertainment, and spending.
