US Ambassador awards start-up projects in Vietnam
US Ambassador to Vietnam Ted Osius presented awards for start-up projects in Hanoi on August 31.
The first prize went to the UKYS project, an app for iPhone/iPad users to create shirts.
It is the brainchild of Lam Nguyen and Pauline Tran. With the app, customers don’t need to go to a tailor, but can use their device to measure their body and send the data to the UKYS centre. The shirts will be shipped to the customers’ home.
Second prize went to Ella Study project and third place went to RoboFarm.
