VOV.VN - The Vietnamese war film “Red Rain” has continued its successful awards run, receiving an honour at the Mai Vang Awards (Golden Apricot Blossom Awards) after winning top prizes at several other major film festivals.
“Dia Dao: Mat Troi Trong Bong Toi” (Tunnel: Sun in the Dark) grossed nearly VND20 billion (approximately US$770,000) on April 7, marking an unprecedented milestone and setting the stage for director Bui Thac Chuyen to reach VND100 billion in revenue in less than a week.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has selected the film “Dao, Pho and Piano” (Peach Blossom, Pho and Piano) as its official nomination to compete in the best international feature film category at the 97th Academy Awards (Oscar).
