VOV.VN - Poland imported a total of 11,100 tonnes of coffee with a value of US$18.42 million from Vietnam during 9-month period last year, representing an increase of 30.6% in volume and 27.1% in value against the same period in 2019, according to figures compiled by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT).
VOV.VN - The local coffee industry has been urged to develop its value chain, strengthen connectivity between production and trade, whilst developing export markets and building brands to achieve the export target of US$6 billion by 2030.
Vietnam gained US$2.7 billion from shipping an estimated 1.7 million tonnes of coffee abroad in 2020, accounting for over 10% of the world’s coffee value and 18% of the market share, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).
VOV.VN - The opening seven months of the year witnessed EU nations increase their purchases of Vietnamese coffee, including a 53.7% rise from Poland to US$23.5 million, and an increase of 20.1% from Belgium to US$74.8 million.
