UNFPA’s work in Vietnam is centred on ensuring that every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe, and every young person’s potential is fulfilled, said UNFPA Representative in Vietnam Matt Jackson.

First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) Bui Quang Huy, who is also Chairman of the National Committee on Youth, hosted a reception in Hanoi on September 11 for UNFPA Representative in Vietnam Matt Jackson.

This year, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) marks World Population Day (July 11) with the theme “Rights and Choices are the answer: Whether baby boom or bust, the solution lies in prioritising the reproductive health and rights of all people.”
