Three northern provinces - Lao Cai, Yen Bai and Ha Nam - on August 20 sent a total 100 medical workers to Dong Nai province to assist the southern locality in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

The General Department of Logistics under the Ministry of Defence held a ceremony in Hanoi on August 1 to set off medical staff of the COVID-19 treatment hospital 5D to support Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province where the pandemic continues developing unpredictably.
