VOV.VN - Vietnam aims to collect 100,000 units of blood in 48 provinces and cities across the country from now until July 30 when it launched the 13th Red Journey, the country’s largest blood drive campaign in Hanoi on May 30.

The 2023 Red Journey blood donation campaign has collected more than 115,000 units after two months, according to Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion Nguyen Ha Thanh.

VOV.VN - The 10th Red Journey, the largest blood donation drive in Vietnam organised by the National Institute of Haematology and Blood Transfusions, kicked off on June 2 in the southernmost province of Ca Mau.

The National Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation has set a goal to collect over 1.5 million blood units in 2021, with 99 percent of which donated by volunteers, according to Le Gia Tien, Director of the committee's Standing Office.
