VOV.VN - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has ordered relevant ministries and localities to ensure sufficient supplies of essential goods and prevent unreasonable price hikes ahead of the coming Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday.

Vietnam aims to hold average inflation to around 3.3% in 2025, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc said at a Government meeting on price management on November 21, citing the need for tighter coordination between fiscal and monetary policies amidst global economic uncertainty.
The government has viewed price control of key commodities, such as petrol, steel, concrete, transport, livestock feed, food and medical equipment, as a top priority, said Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai in a meeting with ministries and local authorities on March 14.
