Da Nang has been named Vietnam’s Smart City of 2025, securing the top and only national title granted this year by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA).

Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son on December 6 attended the launch for the peak period of the “Quang Trung Campaign”, a Government housing reconstruction initiative for families whose homes were destroyed by recent natural disasters, in D’ran commune of the central province of Lam Dong.

The National Statistics Office on December 6 reported positive signs in business registration, with sharp increases in both newly established enterprises and their registered capital over the first 11 months of 2025.
