VOV.VN - The Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee has decided to convene the 13th National Party Congress in Hanoi capital in January 2021.

The 12th-tenure Party Central Committee (PCC) reached high consensus on personnel work related to the 13th tenure Politburo and PCC Secretariat during the 14th session, which concluded on December 18 morning after nearly five working days, two days ahead of schedule.

The Party Central Committee spent the second day of its 14th session debating several draft reports to be submitted to the upcoming 13th National Party Congress.

The 14th session of the 12th Party Central Committee opened in Hanoi on December 14 under the chair of Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong.

A national teleconference took place on December 12 to review outcomes of the 10-year implemenation of the Party Central Committee Secretariat’s Conclusion 61 and the Prime Minister’s Decision 673 on rural development.

Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong said on November 27 that Party inspection and supervision work must be carried out regularly, comprehensively, openly, democratically, and cautiously.

The Politburo held a national cadres’ conference in Hanoi on November 19 to review the organisation of Party congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 tenure.
