VOV.VN - Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang has emphasized the growing role of overseas Vietnamese intellectuals and outlined policies aimed at encouraging their greater contributions to national development.
The policy to attract overseas Vietnamese (OV) intellectuals will be more successful when it has open mechanisms, clear regulations, and a favourable working environment for scientists to utilise their creativity, according to an OV professor.
A conference was held in the Czech Republic on December 1 to highlight President Ho Chi Minh’s sentiments towards overseas Vietnamese and intellectuals.
