Vietnam Railways (VNR) is ramping up its services, including additional trips on the North-South route and to popular destinations in order to meet rising travel demand during the April 30 – May 1 public holidays.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Japan hosted a meeting on April 22 with a delegation from the Japan-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance, led by its newly elected Chairwoman Obuchi Yuko, aiming to help deepen cooperation and friendship between the two nations.

A scientific symposium on the future of Vietnam–Russia relations in a new era was held at the Institute of Oriental Studies under the Russian Academy of Sciences in Moscow on April 22.

Despite unpredictable global and regional landscapes, the relationship between Vietnam and Laos has continued to grow steadily, underpinned by the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation, said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong.
