Former Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long and five other defendants in the Viet A case had their sentences reduced during an appeal court hearing in Hanoi on May 17.
The High People's Court in Hanoi will hear the appeals of former Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long and 10 other defendants in the COVID-19 test kit fraud that occurred at Viet A Technologies JSC, the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Science and Technology and related agencies and organisations, on May 15.
