The 15th National Assembly on June 25 adopted several important laws and resolutions during its ongoing 9th session.

VOV.VN - Authorised by the Prime Minister, Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang presented a draft resolution of the National Assembly on the establishment of an international financial centre in Vietnam, at the ongoing 9th session of the legislature.

VOV.VN - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man has signed Resolution No. 199 on shortening the tenure of the 15th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021–2026 term, and on the election date for deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils for the 2026–2031 term.

VOV.VN - The National Assembly (NA) will vote on two resolutions on 21 May morning regarding the early conclusion of the 15th legislature and the 2021–2026 term of People’s Councils at all levels, along with the date for the next general elections of deputies to the 16th NA and the 2026–2031 term of People’s Councils.

National Assembly (NA) Chairman Tran Thanh Man and his spouse Nguyen Thi Thanh Nga, along with a high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese legislature, met with the staff members of Vietnamese representative agencies and the representatives of the Vietnamese community in Singapore on December 1 evening, as part of their official visit to the country. ​

The Law on the Value Added Tax was adopted at the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly (NA) in Hanoi on November 26 and is set to come into force in July next year.
