VOV.VN - The ASEAN – Education and Business Program 2023 (VELP 2023) has been launched to support Vietnamese and Italian businesses to connect trade exchanges and engage in global supply and distribution chains.

VOV.VN - The Embassy of Italy in Hanoi and the Hanoi Museum are set to launch an exhibition titled “Created in Italy. An Aptitude for the Impossible”, from May 25 to June 18 in a bid to introduce Italian manufacture and technological innovation.

Various activities were held in many places around the world to mark the 133rd birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh, who is hailed as a brilliant leader, a national liberation hero of Vietnam, a world cultural figure, an exemplary international communist soldier, and a close friend of peace-loving and socially progressive nations worldwide.

With more than 5,000 books in Italian, Vietnamese, and other languages, the “Ho Chi Minh and Vietnam” Library in Todi, a city in the Italian region of Umbria, has become a destination for Italian and international visitors wishing to learn about Vietnam and its late leader.

The cultural identity as well as the image of a beautiful and peaceful nation of Vietnam have been introduced to international friends during an international festival held in Borgomanero district of Italy’s Piemonte region.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Italy is showcasing Vietnam’s fruits, vegetables and spices at the 40th Macfrut international trade fair in Rimini city in the Emilia Romagna region from May 3-5, within the framework of the Vietnam-Italy Year 2023 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties and the 10th anniversary of strategic partnership.

A friendship exchange programme on Vietnam – Italy solidarity was held by the Vietnam – Italy Friendship Association (VIFA) and the Italy-Vietnam Friendship Associations in the Veneto and Liguria regions, and the Italian Embassy in Vietnam, on April 18 in Hanoi.

A series of workshops and seminars on the potential for promoting economic cooperation between Vietnam and the Umbria region, along with trade and investment promotion events, were hosted by the Vietnamese Embassy in Italy on April 14 – 16.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Italy from April 14-16 organised activities in the Umbria region within the framework of the Vietnam-Italy Year 2023, after the launching ceremony of the year took place in Rome on March 31.
