Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Minh Hang has affirmed that important breakthroughs contributed to opening up a new phase of cooperation between Vietnam and countries in the Middle East and African regions in 2024.

The export of agro-forestry-aquatic products has created a breakthrough this year, generating US$62.5 billion, up 18.7% year on year, with a record trade surplus of US$17.9 billion, marking a remarkable 46.8% growth rate compared to the previous year.

Vietnam recently showcased its certified halal products at the Melaka Halal Festival 2024 in Malaysia, a move to expand its presence in the global halal market.
