VOV.VN - The 63 staff members of Vietnam's Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 6 in South Sudan have been honoured with United Nations medals for their dedication to UN peacekeeping missions.

The Ministry of National Defence held a teleconference on October 16 to review the recent term of Engineering Unit Rotation 2 and Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 5 in the United Nations (UN) peacekeeping missions.

The Engineering Unit Rotation 3 and the Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 6 paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi, and to fallen soldiers at the Heroic Martyrs' Monument in the capital city on September 18 before they head for UN peacekeeping missions.

Vietnam's Level-2 Field Hospital Rotation 5 has coordinated with units the Bentiu sub-division and a number of departments at the the UN Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) to make a volunteer trip to provide health care for women and children in Bentiu, South Sudan.
