VOV.VN - Vietnamese shrimp exports to China soared by 50% to US$65 million in October, with the northern neighbour surpassing the United States to become the largest importer of local shrimp, according to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP).
Surmounting difficulties to boost economic recovery, Vietnam is expected to post a foreign trade record of US$780 billion in 2022.
In the first nine months of 2022, Vietnam was the third largest seafood supplier for the US in terms of volume and the 5th largest in value, data from the US National Marine Fisheries Service showed.
