VOV.VN - China surpassed the United States to become the largest consumer of Vietnamese agricultural products, spending US$1.27 billion on imports, in the first two months of the year.

Vietnam earned over US$3.4 billion from agro-forestry-aquatic product exports in February, a year-on-year increase of 5.7%, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said.

Vietnam’s rice export this year is expected to benefit from many favourable conditions, including high global demand, to reach 7 million tonnes, according to the Cong Thuong (Industry & Trade) newspaper.
