Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on July 30 requested the central provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh to balance their annual budgets and mobilise funding from other sources to implement projects on protection and promotion of Vi Giam folk singing.

The Hue Festival 2020 will open on August 26 this year, two days earlier than the previously-decided date of August 28, the festival organising board said on July 21.
