VOV.VN - Red Rain, a Vietnamese war film, has become the biggest box-office hit in Vietnam in 2025, earning nearly VND350 billion within just 10 days of release.

Box Office Vietnam announced that the total box office revenue in Vietnam for 2024, from January 1 to December 31, reached nearly VND4.7 trillion (US$185 million), marking the highest annual figure ever recorded.

“Bo Gia” (Old Father), a family movie starring comedian and TV host Tran Thanh, has become the bestselling Vietnamese movie in the country’s cinema history after its ticket sales reached VND200 billion on March 14.
