VOV.VN - Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister cum Minister of the Interior Krolahom Sar Kheng co-chaired the 12th conference on cooperation and development of border localities between Vietnam and Cambodia in Tay Ninh province on April 25.

The European Union (EU)’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), which is set to take effect in 2024, will impact production and trade activities of Vietnamese manufacturers, especially in high carbon emission industries like iron and steel, aluminium and cement, as well as the whole economy, said experts.

There is ample room for Vietnam and China’s localities, particularly Guangxi province, to boost trade collaboration, said Deputy Director of the city’s Investment & Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) Nguyen Tuan.
