VOV.VN - The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced on September 30 that the film "Mưa đỏ" (Red Rain) has been chosen as Vietnam’s official submission for the Best International Feature Film category at the 98th Academy Awards (Oscars).

VOV.VN - “Cu Li Không Bao Giờ Khóc” (Cu Li Never Cries) directed by Pham Ngoc Lan won the Best Feature Film award at the annual film festival Sharjah Film Platform (SFP) which was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on November 25.

The 7th Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF) was wrapped up on November 11 with the Best Feature Film Prize going to “Hard Shell”, a film from Iran.

“Ben trong vo ken vang” (Inside the Yellow Cocoon Shell) by Vietnamese director Pham Thien An has won the best feature film award at the 21st Asian Film Festival held in Rome, Italy.

“Bo Gia” (Dad, I’m sorry), by directors Tran Thanh and Vu Ngoc Dang, was honoured as the Best Feature Film at Golden Kite Awards 2020 which was held by the Vietnam Cinema Association (VCA) in Hanoi on December 22.
