VOV.VN - The Vietnam Sports Economy Summit 2026 will take place in Hanoi on on March 27, and is expected to attract representatives from state management agencies, businesses, investors, sponsors, as well as domestic and international experts and researchers, as sport plays an increasingly important role in socio-economic development.

Hanoi plans to organise a series of activities throughout March to celebrate the 80th traditional day of Vietnam’s sports sector (March 27, 1946 –2026), in conjunction with the 2026 Olympic Run Day, according to the municipal Department of Culture and Sports.

The Vietnam Sports Administration (VSA) has coordinated with competent agencies in building a project on digital transformation in the sport sector for 2023-2025, with a vision towards 2030.

Nearly 100 businesses are showcasing thousands of products at the 7th Vietnam Cycle & Vietnam Sport Show that kicked off in Hanoi on November 3.
