The sixth Vietnam - Japan high-level agricultural cooperation dialogue convened in Tokyo on September 4, with Acting Vietnamese Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Duc Thang and Japanese Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Koizumi Shinjiro charting a course for enhanced collaboration in agriculture, forestry, and fisheries.

Vietnam’s agriculture, forestry, and fisheries exports reached US$39.68 billion in the first seven months of this year, a 14.7% year-on-year increase, with a trade surplus of US$11.52 billion, up 15.9%, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
