VOV.VN - Viettel High Tech, an arm of Vietnam’s military run telecom and defence industry giant Viettel, has expanded defence technology cooperation with a series of leading Turkish partners at the SAHA 2026 Defence and Aerospace Exhibition recently held in Istanbul, Türkiye.

Vietnam’s low-altitude economy is emerging as a promising growth driver, underpinned by technology and data, as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are among six prioritised strategic technology products and some supporting technologies for this economy are also named among the 11 groups of national strategic technologies.

Vietnam is now at the ‘golden time’ to develop a low-altitude economy, creating an entirely new economy based on aerospace and UAV technology, FPT Group’s Chief Technology Officer Vu Anh Tu stated at the Vietnam Low-altitude Economy Forum 2025 in Hanoi on November 14.
