The Quang Tri Border Guard Command and the police of Laos' Salavan province on December 26 held their 2025 annual talks to review cooperation results over the past year and agree on orientations for future collaboration.

The Da Nang chapter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) and the Salavan chapter of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Youth Union held an exchange and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation for 2024-2029 on July 17.

Officials of Salavan province of Laos and central Thua Thien-Hue province of Vietnam have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in protecting forests, forest products and wildlife in the border areas of the two localities in the 2023-2028 period.
