VOV.VN - As many as 20 Chinese enterprises have expressed a keen interest in buying Vietnamese peppers, Mike Liu, president of the China Spice Association, said on March 3 at the opening ceremony of Vietnam International Pepper and Spice Outlook 2025 (VIPO 2025).

A delegation from the Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, led by Consul General Wei Huaxiang, and 30 Chinese coconut companies made a field trip to raw material zones in Cau Ke district, the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh, on December 20.

The People’s Committee of Soc Trang province coordinated with Chinese Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City to organise a meeting between enterprises of China and local businesses on March 20.

Vietnam is anticipated to emerge as a destination for Chinese enterprises in the near future, as investments from the neighbouring country have become increasingly diverse in areas such as energy, green development, and digital economy, according to experts.
