Xuan Son receives exciting news at the start of Lunar New Year
VOV.VN - Naturalized striker Nguyen Xuan Son has received more good news from Nam Dinh FC in the early days of the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025.
At the 2024 ASEAN Cup, Son played a pivotal role in Vietnam’s championship victory. He claimed two individual awards: Best Player of the Tournament and Top Scorer, with 7 goals to his name. Unfortunately, during the second-leg final, he suffered an injury and now requires recovery time before making his return to the field.
As the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025 began, Xuan Son was further delighted when Nam Dinh FC recognized the players who contributed to their ASEAN Cup triumph.
Xuan Son was awarded a luxury apartment in Hanoi, while his teammates, Nguyen Van Toan and Nguyen Van Vi, each received VND500 million. Xuan Son and his family expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Nam Dinh FC for this generous gesture, making for a joyful start to the new year.
Following his success at the ASEAN Cup, Son has captured the attention from clubs in Thailand and the Republic of Korea. However, the Vietnam national team forward has made it clear that he has no plans to leave and wishes to continue his career with Nam Dinh FC.
