V.League 1 & 2 postponed for another week

VOV.VN - The Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) signed a document on January 14 to postpone both the V.League 1 and V.League 2 for an additional week.

In line with this, the V.League 1 season will belated begin on February 25 and conclude on November 11. The first round of matches will be held on February 25 and February 26.

The V.League 2 will get underway on March 5 and finish on October 30 while the National Football Cup is scheduled to run from April 6 to November 20.

The VPF said that V.League 1 matches will take place at three time slots, with games being held at 17:00 pm, 18:00 pm, and 19:15 pm.

The first match on fixture days in the V.League 2 calendar will kick off at 15:30 pm, while the latest match will start at 18:00 pm.

The V.League 1 will see the participation of 13 clubs, including Becamex Binh Duong, Dong A Thanh Hoa, Hanoi FC, Hai Phong, Hoang Anh Gia Lai, Hong Linh Ha Tinh, Nam Dinh, Sai Gon, SHB Da Nang, Song Lam Nghe An, Topenland Binh Dinh, Ho Chi Minh City, and Viettel FC.

Furthermore, 12 clubs will compete in the V.League 2, including Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Binh Phuoc, Can Tho, People’s Public Security, Dak Lak, Hue, Khanh Hoa, Long An, Pho Hien, Phu Dong, Phu Tho, and Quang Nam.

They will play in 156 home and away matches across 26 rounds of fixtures. The National Football Cup 2022 will involve 13 V.League 1 and 12 V.League 2 clubs that will compete in a total of 24 matches.
