Vietnamese team ramp up preparations ahead of Thailand clash

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese national men’s football team took to the pitch for a training session in Hanoi on August 29 ahead of their opening fixture of the Asian zone’s second qualifying round for the World Cup 2022 against Thailand.

As a result of the heavy rain the training session is delayed and held later than scheduled.
The team takes part in an intensive training session in preparation for their clash against Thailand.
To start training, the Vietnamese players warm up with some light exercises.
 although a number of players, including Do Hung Dung, Do Duy Manh, and Tran Van Kien take part in a private training session held by doctor Choi Ju-young, the squad is eager to train.The trio have recently returned from their club side after Hanoi FC’s match in the AFC Cup Inter-Zonal semi-finals.
Given the number 27, striker Ha Minh Tuan participates in the practice alongside the rest of the team after taking part in two private training sessions with the team’s physio.
Due to the recent bad weather, the training session transpire amid challenging conditions for the footballers.
The training session is largely held behind closed doors with the media only being allowed to observe the first 20 minutes.
