Vietnam men’s team slide to No. 134 in FIFA world rankings

VOV.VN - The Vietnam national men’s football team are now ranked No.134 internationally, No. 21 in Asia and No. 3 in Southeast Asia, according to the latest FIFA/Coca world ranking table.

The team slid 5 spots after losing 17 points following their loss to Indonesia at AFF Cup 2016 for a third-place finish.

Iran now stands atop Asia followed by the Republic of Korea, Japan and Australia in the No. 2-4 spots.

Meanwhile, in Southeast Asia the Philippines leads trailed by Thailand and Vietnam in the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, respectively.

Argentina sits atop the world rankings with Brazil, Germany, Chile and Belgium rounding out the top five in descending order.
