Vietnam in fourth place at Asian Rifle/Pistol Cup 2025
VOV.VN - Vietnam has bagged three golds, three silvers, and five bronzes, ranking fourth at the Asian Rifle/Pistol Cup 2025, which was wrapped up in Thailand on February 21.

In the final competition day on February 21, shooters Ha Minh Thanh, Tran Cong Hieu, and Phan Cong Minh earned a total of 1,675 points, helping Vietnam win another gold medal in the men's 25m standard pistol team.
In addition, in the individual event, Phan Cong Minh also earned 567 points to secure a silver medal.
Vietnam grabbed its second gold medal on February 17 as Ha Minh Thanh, Pham Quang Huy, and Vu Tien Nam triumphed in the men's 25m rapid fire pistol team. It also won a gold in the mixed 10m air pistol on February 12.
Top place went to Kazakhstan with 12 golds, nine silvers, and four bronzes. The winners were followed by the Republic of Korea and Singapore. Hosts Thailand finished ninth in the tournament.
The Asian Rifle/Pistol Cup 2025 was held in Thailand from February 9 to 22, featuring over 280 top marksmen from 23 countries and territories. Vietnam sent an 18-member squad to the competition.
